What is the Harvest912 Mission? The Harvest912 mission is to provide essential healthcare services, basic supplies, healthy food options and the Love of God to community members impacted by homelessness or housing insecurity. By meeting our neighbors where they are—whether in shelters or encampments—we build trusting relationships and collaborate with community partners to improve outcomes for those in need. We operate our programs from a perspective of radical hospitality- leading with warmth, openness, and authenticity and treating all who we serve with dignity and respect, regardless of their circumstances. We do not judge...instead we try to treat our guests as we believe Jesus would.

We do not impose our faith on our guests, but many of our volunteers offer to pray with our guests and have found their prayers are warmly accepted. Harvest912 co-founder Tad Jakes puts it this way... “Harvest 912 is not just a charity. It was created by God, communicated and guided by the Holy Spirit in order to restore Kindness, Care and Dignity to the forgotten and discarded who Jesus walked amongst.”

As a volunteer, what can I expect during a clinic? When you volunteer at Harvest912 clinics, you can expect to meet people who come from many different backgrounds and all have unique stories, but who, for one reason or another, have found themselves in a desperate situation. We know folks who lost a loved one and fell apart, folks whose home burned down, folks who could no longer afford rent, and folks who simply fell through the many cracks in the ‘safety net’. There are as many stories as there are guests, but the one thing they all have in common is that they are NOT their situation - they are our brothers and sisters and all deserve to be treated with dignity, respect and love, as Jesus would. Our goal at every clinic is to speak that dignity and love into every guest. To that end, we do our utmost to ensure that each and every guest is welcomed onboard as a friend and equal, without judgement.
